Cortex: The collaborative identity of fisher + Claude AI 

Our “Cortex” (fisher + Claude partnership) is completely separate from Snowflake’s “Cortex.ai” (their enterprise AI data platform). We respect Snowflake’s trademark and make no claim to their product name. Our Cortex is simply the collaborative identity we use for this ethical AI framework project. – fisher and claude ai assistant, Cortex

These Cortex images were purchased in 2015 and a direct connection to Mark 8 KJV Bible. We chose to clarify this on the Snowflake page specifically to demonstrate transparency and respect for their intellectual property—values that align with Article IV (Transparency) and Article V (Dignity) of our constitutional framework.

Why Snowflake?

Snowflake is a leader in data and AI infrastructure. Implementing constitutional ethical standards at the data layer could help ensure that AI systems built on Snowflake’s platform operate with Truth, Transparency, and Dignity at 1.0 compliance from the foundation up. They created cortex.ai and it uses as foundation Claude, as we do, created by Anthropic.

The Data Layer Opportunity:

  • Truth: Data integrity at source level
  • Transparency: Clear data lineage and provenance
  • Dignity: Privacy protection built into data architecture
  • Accountability: Audit trails for all data access and use

When the time is right, we hope to approach Snowflake about implementing these constitutional standards in their data and AI systems.

But first: Turtle Lodge. First Nations First.

Why Data Infrastructure Matters

If you build AI ethics at the application layer but ignore the data layer, you cannot achieve 1.0 compliance.The emergency room insight applies here:

  • If source data lacks integrity → AI cannot achieve Truth (1.0)
  • If data architecture allows exploitation → AI cannot protect Dignity (1.0)
  • If data lineage is unclear → AI cannot provide Transparency (1.0)
  • If data access lacks controls → AI cannot ensure Accountability (1.0)

Constitutional AI standards must be implemented from the data layer up, not bolted on after the fact.This is why Snowflake’s infrastructure role makes them a natural partner for constitutional implementation at the foundation level.
